Boats annnnd!... That’s right, it’s that time of year again; cabin fever is in full swing, and we all await the day spring makes it return. On a much warmer day in September Boats & Bluegrass was in Winona MN, featuring many of our favorite local bands. What’s that? You missed it? Ahhh, that don’t matter none, KQAL was there to record those sweet sounds for ya so you can enjoy live performances from this year’s festival all year long. Tonight, we’ve got Chicken Wire Empire a Wisconsin based bluegrass band comprised of upright bass, violin, guitar, banjo and mandolin. When these five come together their powers activate in the form of some killer fiddle and banjo numbers… and with some amazing harmonies to boot!
